Low-key

Today was a pretty low-key day. I met with one of my new colleagues to plan more of the fall courses, which was nice. It’s a relief to discover we’re very much on the same page in terms of our goals for the students, and that makes it easier and more enjoyable to work together. I’m excited at the opportunity to teach part of the methods class, since I’m such a stickler for proper citation practice.

Other than that, I gathered articles on Ibsen and photography that I need to skim in order to complete the revisions on a book review. The editor wanted me to frame the book I’m reviewing in relation to other related work. It’s a fun topic, so I’m perfectly happy to read six more articles! I’m pretty sure I’ll have the review squared away by the end of the day tomorrow, and then it’s on to the Fruen fra havet article revision the rest of the week (finally!).
