I woke up eager to read through the Collett article and start making corrections, and was able to get in a fair bit of revising in between other stuff today. I had skimmed the relevant bits of one of my colleague’s books, and it was perfect for plugging into the theory section. It will be fun to hear her response when she reads the article in our next WIP-exchange!
The good news is that the draft mostly seemed to flow pretty well. There were only a couple small sections that needed moving or cutting–nothing particularly painful or complicated to work out. It will still need a few more rounds of revising, and I still need to complete the bibliography and insert a bunch of missing translations, but so far so good.
Words written: Between cutting and revising and composing new material, I ended up with a net gain of 633 words.
