R & R

For me “R & R” has more to do with work than with rest and relaxation. I just got word that the peer reviewers of my Ibsen/Fosse article were deeply divided. One thought it couldn’t be salvaged, the other thought it had enough strengths to justify (some pretty substantial) revision–in other words, a classic R & R (“revise and resubmit”).  The editors at Ibsen Studies have given me the chance to rework it, for which I’m very grateful! There’s a killer deadline, though: the end of June.
